Front Street has been significantly impacted by increased truck traffic endangering drivers and pedestrians alike. Considerable efforts have been ongoing to find appropriate solutions – traffic studies, meetings with local PennDOT representatives, discussions with State elected officials, and ongoing conversations with a PennDOT liaison in Harrisburg. While PennDOT policies and regulations affect our ability to easily tackle Front Street issues since it is a state road, we will persevere in our efforts and continue looking for resolutions.
