The most significant responsibility the Board of Supervisors has is stewardship of the Township’s budget. The tax revenue received from the hard-working residents and property owners of LMBT deserves the highest level of financial vigilance and protection from wasteful spending. Sandra has decades of experience in budget management and oversight. In recent years, as a direct result of her expertise, LMBT has received hundreds of thousands of dollars in grant funding to preserve valuable open space and recreation areas. From 2008 to the present, her expertise in budget evaluation, operational cost-cutting, and contract negotiation has reduced annual sanitation fees from a high of $310 to the current rate of $185, and has resulted in substantial reductions in the Township’s annual legal and engineering service expenses.
